I've had many requests about the names of the members of the Prince Edward County Citizens' Assembly. The full list is here. Jonathan Rose

After attending the 2nd session I wondered who were the participants. Upon reviewing the bios, noticed that there were only 23 listed and that Athol was not represented. Here is Mt. Rose's reply to my subsequent query.
+++++++++++++ Hello Mr Hobson Thanks for getting in touch about the Citizens Assembly. You are correct that we are short one member. Unfortunately, we had one drop out the day before the first session and though we attempted to find a replacement, were unable to do so. Happy to answer any other questions you have. Sincerely, Jonathan Rose

FYI my analysis of Citizen's Assembly based on supplied bios.
IMO: Nothing too radical.
1a) only 23 participants, no Athol rep 1b) one of 23 stated in favour of reduction
2) 14 female
3a) at least 11 have lived in PEC since 2000 (some did not state when they moved here) 3b) 7 of the 11 were born here 3c) 3 of the 7 have lived their whole life in PEC

During a break during the 3rd session, I asked Aaron if they were doing a survey to determine how many came with preconceived opinions (as per the one who stated an opinion in their Bio) and how many moved. He stated that the survey at the end included this type question.
Will be interesting to see how many were open-minded at the start.
IMO the process was robust. The facilitators took pains to make sure that any dissenting voices were heard and understood by all participants.
